Sandblast gun is also one of the parts of sandblast equipment.

Sandblast gun is part of sandblaster which you use on surface or media. It’s connected to sandblater with hose, normaly two of them, one comes form bottom from sandblast container and other is connected to top of the container. Purpose of this is that sandblasting sand comes form container, abrases surface and then goes back to container. Of course it’s cleaned so it can be used more than one time.

When you buy sandblasting gun you normally get hoses with it, but not in every case, so make sure to double-check what all you get with sandblast gun. The whole sandblasting equipment performs at its weakest link’s performance and sandblast gun is such a weak link, so be sure to get a good one!

The important part of sandblasting equipment is nozzle. There is a wide range of sandblasting nozzles created for your needs. There are nozzles for huge stripping job or for precise work. Nozzle is a part of equipment witch is exposed to high wear so it is very important to choose very quality nozzles. This allow you to work on demanding tasks with quality abrasive power guaranteed. It is important to use the right size of nozzle. Finer tasks demand precise sandblasting nozzles. Jobs that demand to strip bigger are of paint demand wider nozzle that can carry bigger amount of material. Nozzles that are made for larger jobs and for transporting higher air flow are made of carbide and even ceramic material. One should choose a nozzle as part of equipment that can cope demands of a job one wants to do.
